Position Summary
The Quality Control Analyst I is an entry level analyst located in the Quality Control Finished Product (QCFP) laboratory reporting to the QCFG Team Leader. The Analyst I is responsible for analyzing manufactured products per item specification using analytical methods and procedures under the oversight of a fully trained QC Analyst II or Shift Lead.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Observes applicable quality procedures and SOP’s.
• Maintains an awareness of cGMP and ensures compliance with those regulations as they relate to their activities.
• Maintains good housekeeping, order, and safety in the laboratory.
• Other laboratory duties as required such as instrument calibration.
• Submits accurate, precise, and complete analytical reports in a timely fashion.
• Analyzes finished products by chemical and instrumental techniques in accordance with established procedures under the supervision of a QC Analyst II.

• Experience with analytical chemistry, instrumental analysis, data compilation and knowledge of cGMP required.
• Must be able to perform critical assessments of visual color.
• Minimum of one year experience in a quality control analytical laboratory required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a physical science is preferred.
• Knowledge of USP and FDA regulations.
• Organizational skills, decision-making skills, and communication skills required.
