Trissential is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our dynamic team in Minneapolis, MN (Remote).
Responsibilities:
:
  • As a QA Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Oracle EBS applications by thoroughly testing and validating their functionality, performance, and compatibility.
  • Your expertise in both EBS systems and QA methodologies will contribute to the successful delivery of a robust and user-friendly software solution.
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our team working on an Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) project.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand project requirements and application features.
  • Participate in regression testing to validate that new enhancements and updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Stay up to date with Oracle EBS updates, patches, and best practices to ensure testing processes align with the latest developments.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies within the project team.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications for Oracle EBS modules, ensuring maximum coverage of business processes.
  • Conduct performance and scalability testing to assess the system's response under different conditions and workloads.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to verify the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of Oracle EBS applications.
  • Perform system integration testing, ensuring seamless interaction between various Oracle EBS modules and other integrated systems.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand end-user perspectives, gather feedback, and refine test scenarios.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and retesting.
Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools and methodologies.
  • Proven experience as a QA Analyst or similar role, with a focus on Oracle E-Business Suite applications.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, capable of identifying and documenting defects accurately.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • In-depth understanding of Oracle EBS modules, architecture, and underlying database structures.
  • Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate EBS functionality.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Oracle EBS certification and experience with other Oracle Cloud Applications are desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of performance testing, security testing, and integration testing principles is a plus.
