Job Description

TeamSoft’s client is looking for a Python/Django Developer!


Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with front-end developers or utilize their own front-end skills to create user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Write unit tests to verify the correctness of their code and conduct debugging to identify and resolve issues.
  • Enable communication between different software systems by defining endpoints, handle requests and responses, and ensure data is transmitted securely.
  • Work with databases to design data models, define relationships between objects, and handle data storage and retrieval.
  • Analyze the code and database queries, identify bottlenecks, and make improvements to ensure the application runs efficiently.
  • Provide built-in support for various databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQLite.
  • Create web applications by writing code in Python and utilizing the Django framework.


Qualifications:

  • Experience with Automated test writing, Podman, and BASH Scripting
  • Experience with MySQL
  • Understanding of SQL database development
  • Experience with Python (ideally version 3.6+)
  • Experience with Django web framework (version 3.2+)
