Job Description
  • Reviews and maintains good record of purchasing files and records such as purchase orders, contracts, etc., to ensure its compliance with company policies and procedures and ensure the availability of documentation.
  • Evaluates contractors to ensure its performance is aligned with established specifications.
  • Reviews and evaluates prices for suppliers/contractors in a periodic manner.
  • Performs cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
  • Leads and directs the work of purchasing personnel including hiring, training and supervising.
  • To perform other duties and special that may be assigned by the superiors or any authorized representative
  • Develops and implements purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
  • Administers bidding process and contracts.
  • Stays current with purchasing technology trends and oversees purchase and implementation, as necessary.
  • Continually improves purchasing methods/processes.
  • Schedules deliveries and ensures timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Identifies opportunities for cost savings.
  • Researches and evaluates suppliers and contractors to compare pricing and services.
  • Negotiates or renegotiates and administers contracts with contractors to suppliers.
  • Researches and evaluates contracts to ensure it is in compliance with government and company regulations.
