The Plant Manager is a key member of the Yukon, OK leadership team. The Plant Manager is responsible for providing direct and overall leadership for the Yukon, OK manufacturing facility, managing safety, production, quality, inventory, and cost to meet customer expectations. This role is also responsible for developing OGSM manufacturing objectives, supporting business direction, developing financial budgets, and supporting the development and implementation of new products.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of the Global World Class Manufacturing process by working with pillar leaders to develop implementation plans.
  • Achieve improved equipment reliability with the goal of zero downtime by utilizing the Autonomous and Preventative Maintenance Pillars.
  • Lead the capital planning process to develop a three-year plan and annual performance by completing projects on time and within planned costs while not exceeding budget.
  • Work with NA Insulation Planning team and Customer Service on capacity planning and support monthly production plans to maintain expected customer service levels.
  • Develop using the Cost Deployment Pillar, annual PAP plans to meet or exceed 3.5% annual reduction of manufacturing costs.
  • Work with the HR Manager to maintain positive employee relations and develop effective processes for recruitment, retention, development, communication, and compliance.
  • Develop plant leadership using the performance development (OGSM and APDR) processes.
  • Coordinate production activities along with procurement, maintenance, production planning, safety, and quality control activities to obtain optimal use of the team and equipment.
  • Achieve through the implementation of the Safety and Environmental Pillar, improved safety, and environmental performance with the goal of zero incidents and zero accidents.
  • Work with the Quality Manager to maintain an effective quality process and retain the plant’s ISO9000:2015 certification and achieve and retain the plant’s ISO14001 certification.
  • Work with the Focused Improvement Pillar leader to implement focused improvement tools to support other pillars.
  • Coordinate with technical and sales teams to support new product development efforts.
  • Work with Insulation Technical Manager and plant manufacturing team to develop and implement new ideas for raw material changes and substitutions.
  • Support global KPI process and ensure KPI’s are accurate and used to track improvements.
  • Ensure that plant meets all federal, state, and corporate guidelines and regulations. Work with the Plant Safety/Environmental Committee to achieve goal of being environmentally compliant.
  • Work with Insulation Business Director and Component Foam Business Director to set direction and strategy for the Yukon facility.

Job Qualifications and Requirements
  • Ability to excel in a cross-cultural, global team environment.
  • Cultivate and promote a positive and innovative work environment.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Working knowledge of World Class Manufacturing or Lean Manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to lead effective teams and others.
  • 10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing environment required, Plant Manager preferred.

The expected annual salary for this role is $148,408.10 - $165,510.13.
The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience, and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
