Nature Of Work
This position performs paraprofessional and administrative work while being responsible for internal and external communication efforts on behalf of City of Orlando Streets and Stormwater Division; disseminating information to media outlets and citizens of City of Orlando. This position creates educational programs, campaigns, and presentations to educate local schools, groups, and associations. This position works closely with the Communications Division and the Streets and Stormwater Division to ensure smooth media and public relations functions. Work performed under the supervision of the Stormwater Compliance Program Manager.
Minimum Requirements
Associate’s degree with course work in Marketing, Communications, or Environmental Studies plus three (3) years of experience developing and administering promotional/marketing programs using social media sites required; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Knowledge of various web content management system software preferred.
VALID DRIVER LICENSE FROM ANY STATE MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF INTERVIEW.
