Job Description
Adelphi is seeking a Licensed Psychologist who can provide psychological services to patients at a hospital in Terrell, Texas.

Requirements:


  • Must be fully trained and have a minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Must have doctoral degree in Psychology
  • Must maintain continuing education credits requirements for completing forensic evaluations.
  • Must have and maintain a Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologist licensed Psychologist in good standing.


Responsibilities:


  • Evaluate referred 46B patients regarding their competency to stand trial and will
  • Evaluate 46B patients for competency and to evaluate 46C patients regarding risk.
  • Provide an accurate written report of their competency in the forms of a letter for the court and a report for CWS Avatar.
  • Provide report of competency which meets state requirements, either dictated or written report on patients as assigned.
  • Evaluate referred 46C patients regarding risk for future violence and factors that should be considered in transitioning to treatment in a less restrictive setting.
  • Provide an accurate written report for CWS Avatar.
  • Complete and submit each encounter forms/timesheet for billing purposes
  • Provide the dictated report regarding competency of each referral within 10 working days.
