Below is a description of all our current Behavioral Health services: Outpatient- (PHP) Partial Hospitalization Program/ (IOP) Intensive Outpatient Program
• Semi-private suites including two safe rooms for de-escalation. • Moments to Orlando, Kissimmee is a family-oriented destination known for its themed dinner theaters, swamp tours and outdoor activities. In downtown Kissimmee, spend some time in Kissimmee Lakefront Park and walk around the waterfront, stopping for ice cream, some splashing in the fountain pool and perhaps a cast into the lake known for bass. Walk past the Monument of States, made of minerals from every state and many nations. Watch for murals depicting the town's past as a cattle capital, where present-day rodeos and cattle auctions allow visitors and residents to remember the historic past.
• Great option for patients who require additional therapy, but do not require hospitalization
• IOP- Minimum 15 hours of therapy sessions per week. Inpatient- Behavioral Health Unit/Baker Act receiving facility/ Crisis Stabilization
• Patients are under care of a psychiatrist and licensed behavioral health professional.
• This would be an employed, GME faculty position involving teaching and working with residents. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2-3 years of outpatient experience plus some prior leadership and/or management experience. Our residency program began in July 2018 with 6 residents per year and will reach 24 residents in 20
• Minimum 4-6 therapy sessions per day and approximately 35 hours a week.
• 6 Bed Emergency Room Behavioral Health Intake Unit
• PHP
• 24/7 nursing and psychiatric care
• Family waiting room, group therapy room and activities room.
