Job Description

The Provider Enrollment Specialist II works with applicants, management and executives to complete the enrollment applications according to government regulations for all Physicians, Non-Physician Practitioners, and any affiliates of the Mercy Health Network. The Provider Enrollment Specialist II is responsible to effectively manage the enrollment process through the release of claims to ensure timely billing of patient services. The Provider Enrollment Specialist II will act as a mentor to PESI. The Provider Enrollment Specialist performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

 

Minimum Required QualificationsEducation:College degree (previous enrollment experience of 2 years may be substituted for education).Licensure:N/AExperience: Previous provider enrollment experience (2 years).Certification/Registration:N/AOther Skills and Knowledge:Ability to work under stress, meet deadlines, and perform all daily assignments with consistency and accuracy.Ability to use logic in determining correct document processing and to read, understand and follow written and oral instructions.
