Job Description
Make your mark for patients


The Project Specialist is responsible for supporting operational and strategic projects that pull through US Immunology strategy. This position reports to the Launch Excellence + Portfolio Engagement Lead.


This position requires project management skills and the ability to execute specific tasks in support of ongoing US Immunology operations and strategic projects. This position works directly with key internal teams to position US IPVU as an industry leader. In addition, this position has tactical and operational duties that encompass both the planning phases and execution. Internal communication at many levels will be a key to success in this position.

  • Act as subject matter expert to US Immunology on the Delegation of Authority process.
  • Act as a key liaison to procurement, project owners, administration staff and vendors to ensure timely processing of paperwork and work with project owners to remove barriers of process execution.
  • Design, implement and maintain an ongoing process to support key projects within US Immunology.


You Will Contribute By


  • Working in a matrixed and highly regulated environment
  • Working with Launch Excellence + Portfolio Engagement Lead and Head of Strategy and Innovation identify key projects which require project management support.
  • Design, implement and maintain an ongoing process to support all project owners in US Immunology to manage the Delegation of Authority (DOA) process. This includes Spend Request Forms (SRF), Statements of Work (SOW), and Purchase Orders (PO). This individual will be responsible for entry into a variety of systems and tracking progress across stakeholders.
  • Budget Management and tracking

Minimum Qualifications


  • Strong communication and collaboration skills a must
  • 5-7 years’ experience in designing, implementing and maintaining projects
  • The ideal candidate must be very detail oriented and possess exceptional planning, organizational and communications skills, have strong professional presence and be able to work under tight deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Previous experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the tasks associated with administrative support, event planning and project management responsibility, including:
  • Experience managing materials, projects, and resources to meet key internal and external customer needs.
  • Bachelors’ degree in finance, business, marketing, communications, or related field or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualifications,
  • Understanding of working within corporate structure for approval processes
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines with a quality product and on budget
  • Strong technology skills, including SAP, Microsoft Excel and Word
