The Job:


As a Project Quality Engineer, you’ll be part of our Global Supplier Quality Team with focus on North America. You’ll get to:


  • Track and report product quality performance showing impact by product family or SKU
  • Participate in validation test plans for quantity, test length and test type for each product family with product engineering
  • Lead and contribute to the following quality systems and/or activities: Manufacturing Sample Lot Quantities, PPAP’s, Control Plans, P-FMEA, capability studies, SPC, Gage R&R, problem solving and preventive quality actions at the receiving manufacturing facilities
  • Communicate and implement quality initiatives at manufacturing facilities
  • Lead APQP efforts for product transfers with cross functional teams utilizing quality tools for this type of Advanced Product Quality Planning effort
  • Utilize tools such as root cause analysis through 8D problem solving, design of experiment and poka-yoke in support of the receiving facility to ensure quality level remains unchanged or improved


The Person:

  • Experienced in applying quality tools and techniques (SPC, Control Plans, FMEA, PPAP, GD&T, Sampling Plans, and Corrective Actions / Problem Solving)
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in a related technical field, preferably Quality Assurance in manufacturing.
  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience in Quality, Engineering, or Manufacturing
  • Certified Quality Engineer through ASQ or Six Sigma Green/Black belt is a plus.
