Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Project Manager II in Worcester.
- Meet budgetary objectives and adjust to project constraints based on financial analysis.
- Crafts, reviews with appropriate stakeholders, and delivers desired/required communications for projects with limited supervision.
- Able to conduct business analysis on different projects across the agency.
- Manages projects according to plan. Measures and raises concerns or risks as appropriate with limited supervision.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once.
- Engages in all necessary training that is related to job performance.
- Able to read, understand and collaborate on budgets, and other financial documents.
- Helps track and document completion of work plan activities.
- Able to facilitate meetings effectively.
- Able to independently manage assigned projects from initiation, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing stages.
- Collects and analyzes project or program metrics.
- Collects data and performs analysis to assist in preparing portfolio, program, or project progress reports.
- Monitors and tracks project budgets.
- Able to lead and collaborate with various teams/committees with limited supervision.
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
- Identifies and participates in quality improvement projects/activities.
- Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- 3 years of Project Management experience.
- Must have or be willing to work towards a project management professional certification upon hire.
- Complies with established division and program policies, procedures, and objectives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with concentration in Project Management, Health Care Administration. Preferred Project Management focus.
- Maintains regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.

- Maintains Provider Enrollments Prepares individual provider applications, staff rosters, re-enrollment, and terminations forms and submits them to 3rd party insurance plans.
- In instances where mail addressee is not identified, review and distribute to applicable party.
- Maintains Facility Enrollments Prepares and submits facility and site applications to 3rd party insurance plans, and Medicaid and Medicare.
- Maintains strict confidentiality with regards to protected health information, and both understands and adheres to CHL Privacy & Security policies and procedures
- Work in collaboration with the Compliance Team on Special Projects.
- Maintains a solid understanding of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement methodologies for service lines.
- Attends variety of meetings, conferences, and trainings as required or directed.
- Negotiate and approve all contract terms while ensuring that projects remain within the established budget.
- Ensure and take responsibility for all steps of provider enrollments.
- Exemplifies knowledge of contract law, accounting principles and finance
- Knowledge of contracting concepts and principles.

- Develop contract proposals to support organizational goals.
- Solid understanding of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement methodologies and community health reimbursement health care services and contracting methodology.

- Strong computer skills in standard PC word processing, spreadsheet and database applications (such as those found in the Microsoft Office Suite)
- Supports credentialing Helps with provider credentialing tasks and accesses confidential and secure federal, state, and private databases.
- Complies with established division and program policies, procedures, and objectives.
- Work with VP's (or designee) to determine and outline contract scopes.
- Create regular status reports regarding progress on contract submission and approval.
- Undergraduate Degree in a Business-related curriculum, Master's Degree preferred.
- Communicates with Payers Interacts directly with 3rd party insurance plans to insure email and package receipt, track applications, verify accurate provider status, and resolve issues.
- Must have excellent analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities
- Maintains regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
- Demonstrates use of quality improvement in daily operations.
- Serve as subject matter expert within the department and company-wide for services assigned and contracting issues in general.
- At least 3 years' experience in a governmental, health care, managed care, or non-profit contracting role.
- Analyze contracts to ensure they comply with state and federal laws and regulations.
- Background in managed care provider contracting including, community health center, behavioral health, and/or physician groups.
- Previous experience as a project manager, or coordinating large projects is an asset
