Project / Quality Engineer Jobs

As a Project & Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing projects and ensuring the highest level of quality in our products and processes. Your responsibilities will include project planning and coordination, quality control, risk assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, project management skills, and a deep understanding of quality control principles. You are a go-getter, relationship builder, incredibly organized, and loves working in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do:

● Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timelines, and budget. Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation, and monitor project processes to meet internal and external objectives and milestones.

● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with project team members and contribute to project planning, set goals, and manage timelines and resources. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, and implement mitigation strategies as needed. Foster effective communication.

● Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and metrics to ensure products and processes meet quality standards and customer requirements. Conduct inspections, audits, and quality tests to identify deviations and non-conformities, and initiate appropriate corrective actions.

● Document and Analyze: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, technical specifications, quality reports, and other relevant records. Review and analyze data, such as defect rates, customer complaints, and product performance, to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Communicate lessons learned from projects and quality initiatives.

● Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, and regulations, and quality management systems. Conduct assessments to verify compliance with standards and implement necessary corrective action plans.

● Supply Chain: Work with SVP of Operations to vet and approve vendors. Ensure that vendors meet expected industry quality standards

What you have:

● 5+ years of experience ● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. Project management certification is a plus.

● Proven track record in project management and quality control, preferably in a technical or engineering environment.

● Strong project management skills, including planning, coordination, and risk management.

● Deep understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools, such as Lean Six Sigma and statistical process control.

● Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and relevant industry standards and regulations.

● Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data driven decision making.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

● Self-motivated, adaptable, and willing to take initiative in a dynamic work environment.

● Continuous improvement mindset and a drive for innovation and excellence.
