Leading Automotive Manufacturer in Fountain Valley is hiring!!
Volt is immediately hiring a Project Manager for immediate hire. As a Project Manager you will oversee the development and execution of project plans for raw material cost impact and localization initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for aligning projects with organizational objectives and timelines, analyzing raw material cost, identifying cost reduction and localization opportunities and leading cross-functional teams to implement projects successfully.
As a Project Manager you will:

• Collaborate with sourcing and procurement teams to identify and evaluate alternative suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strategic partnerships that optimize cost and ensure a sustainable supply chain.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and provide regular progress reports.
• Develop and execute project plans for raw material impact on cost and localization initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of localization projects, including supplier qualification, quality assurance, supply chain optimization, and regulatory compliance.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate project performance, metrics, and outcomes to drive continuous improvement and cost optimization.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with internal stakeholders, including finance, production, quality control, and logistics, to ensure alignment, transparency, and timely project updates.

This is a temporary role expected to last 6 months, possibly longer. You must be comfortable working 3 days onsite, the rest can be from home. Hours are full time, M-F from 8am - 5pm.
The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience as a project manager, preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain environment
• Cost accounting background is strongly preferred
• PT skills a must
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, risk management and stakeholder engagement

Pay Rate: $30-45/hr
