The Logistics & Distribution Implementation Project Manager will be an integral part of the Global Logistics Strategy team and will help drive the implementation of RFP’s, COE initiatives and Logistics & Distribution programs. This person will manage cross-functional and cross-Business Unit improvement initiatives on process optimization, capacity, scalability, and efficiency. This person will also help manage project chartering, facilitation, governance and tracking of other COE projects at Intuitive. The ideal candidate will have experience with logistics and distribution programs, Centers of Excellence, and a history of project management.


Roles And Responsibilities


  • Run cross-department and Business Unit process improvement projects within the organization
  • Create project charters, stakeholder analyses and process maps to aid in project initiation and planning.
  • Partner with Global Process Owners to implement system and process improvements ensuring alignment and consistency
  • Run process mapping and brainstorming workshops that help all types of projects.
  • Evaluate, Design, Drive, and facilitate applicable reviews/audits of key planning processes and/or identified gaps/risks to appropriate closure.
  • Present project updates, findings, and detailed, prioritized recommendations to sponsors and key stakeholders in a range of different formats
  • Drive project implementation working closely with subject matter experts and project champions/sponsors/stakeholders
  • Create metrics and dashboards to measure process efficiencies in order to validate process changes are creating the desired results
  • Partner with upstream and downstream teams to know about process pain points and drive improvements to impact cross-functional KPI’s.
  • Track and present out savings associated with RFP and/or COE initiatives
  • Partner with LSS Training Program manager to design focused training sessions for on-demand content tailored to the audience


Qualifications


Skill/Job Requirements:


  • Experience working with general contractors and familiarity with GC lingo.
  • Excellent communication skills including experience presenting in front of leadership
  • Experience working with or leading IT teams in developing ERP (SAP) solutions.
  • Skilled user of Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel
  • 7+ years professional experience working as a Project Manager. Excellent Project Management skills are required. PMP certified preferred
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or similar or equivalent blend of work and certification experience required.


Nice To Have


  • Highly organized with proven ability to prioritize required
  • User experience of Smartsheet preferred
  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, or other regulated industry is highly preferred
  • Experience working for a Global organization across multiple functions and regions preferred
  • Familiarity with ISO13485:2016 and MDSAP
  • Experience in a logistics and distribution environments is preferred
  • Ability to travel domestically required. Ability to travel internationally preferred

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target salary ranges are listed.


Base Salary Range Region 1:$92,700 - $125,400


Base Salary Range Region 2: $78,800 - $106,600


Shift: Day


Travel: 10% of the time


Workplace Type: Onsite - This job is fully onsite.
