Job Description
Hiring Details:
  • The hourly rate will range from $65-$85 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

  • The position is US based remote, though a Twin Cities based contractor is preferable.
  • Approximately 7-10 hours per week
  • Contract to begin on or around June 1st and completed by February 29th, 2024 with the possibility of extension beyond the targeted completion date.
  • Interviews will be conducted virtually on May 24, 25, and 26.

About the Project

The person in this contracted role will provide project management support for TerraLuna’s project with a large national health foundation. The project will start on June 1st and will be completed by February 29th, 2024.

Four TerraLuna Collaborative members will implement the project, and it has 2 broad objectives:

  • Develop a 3-year plan for evaluating our client’s initiative to advance a new social contract in America that supports family and children's wellbeing.
  • Support the client’s strategy for prioritizing how it can leverage and influence its resources to advance a new social contract.

The project is highly iterative. It has several deliverables and work streams. Each work stream and deliverable will inform the other.

Core Responsibilities

Team Meeting Support:

  • Manage internal team meetings, supporting collaboration and efficiency.
  • Take meeting minutes, and make sure meeting minutes and records are available.

Planning Support:

  • Support the team with ensuring our project plans are realistic, including enough cycles internal review and co-creation before they are complete.
  • Proactively communicate across the team, keeping everyone on track.
  • Manage and adapt to-do lists, internal and external timelines, activities, and priorities as the project progresses.


Scheduling Support:

  • Schedule meetings with the client and internal team meetings.


Leadership:

  • Overall, hold self and team accountable to a standard aligned with TerraLuna’s ethos, norms, and values.


Communication:

  • Manage and oversee project-related communications to the client.


Budget Management:

  • Oversee and manage the project budget, invoicing, and monthly reports to the client in partnership with project leadership and TerraLuna’s Managing Director.


Other responsibilities:

  • Identify areas for subject matter experts to play a role on the project
  • Manage external contractors (copy editing and design)


Preferred Experience
  • Equivalent work experience will be considered
  • 5+ years of project management experience, including managing budgets over $500,000
  • Experience in management consulting with nonprofits or philanthropy


Other Information

  • TerraLuna will provide a TerraLuna Collaborative Google account.
  • The contractor will be responsible for providing their own computer and software licenses for this work unless the software is unique to TerraLuna’s operating environment.
  • All external communication will be used with a TerraLuna Collaborative email address.
