  • :-We are seeking a senior business analyst to support the Data and Analytics (DnA) Success Pillar team. This role will help in building out the framework for product usage metric inclusion in the Adoption score of the Customer Success Scorecard.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The definition and documentation of the roles and responsibilities of stakeholders, including articulation of the effort to oversee the program governance processes, manage risks, and provide oversight and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Training material for stakeholders on the program governance framework, processes, and documentation.
  • Join the DnA Success Pillar team and quickly learn Salesforce's product portfolio, the existing Success Pillar data landscape, existing processes and stakeholders contributing to the development of Customer Success Scorecard (CSS) Adoption domain, and develop the following for CSS:
  • A program governance framework that will guide the program's management and monitoring. This experience should include establishing the framework of establishing the program's objectives, scope, governance structure, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Documentation to support the program governance framework and processes. This documentation should include program charters, project plans, risk registers, compliance checklists, and progress reports.

To be successful, the business data analyst will need to:

  • Understand Objectives: Clearly understand the objectives and goals of each stakeholder and Adoption Scores. What are they trying to achieve through the project, and how will they measure success? Aligning metrics with these objectives is essential.
  • Ability to tell compelling stories and explain complex issues in simple ways
  • Prioritize Metrics: Prioritize the identified metrics based on their importance to different stakeholders and their alignment with the project's goals as well based on product usage data and metadata
  • Must excel in data analysis, problem solving, and communication, with a high degree of attention to detail
  • Salesforce Advance Admin Certified preferred
  • Identify Key Stakeholders: Determine the stakeholders both internal and external, who are directly or indirectly impacted by the project's outcomes and product adoption scores
  • Experience in analyzing business processes across multiple data domains (i.e. Customer, Employee, Marketing)
  • Collaborative Workshops: Organize workshops or meetings where stakeholders can openly discuss and define the metrics. Encourage discussions to ensure that the chosen metrics reflect a consensus among stakeholders.
  • Prioritization: Assess the importance and influence of each stakeholder to determine the level of engagement and effort needed. Involve stakeholders from the outset to gather their input on which metrics are important to them and why.
  • Experience in working and communicating with both information technology and strategic business teams
  • Clarify Definitions: Ensure that each metric is well-defined and understood by all stakeholders. Avoid ambiguity to prevent misinterpretation or conflicting interpretations later.
  • SKILLSOver 7 years of experience as a business data analyst
  • Experience in building and creating reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com
  • Agreement and Sign-Off: Seek agreement and sign-off from all relevant stakeholders on the final set of metrics. This ensures a shared understanding of what will be measured.
  • Quantitative vs. Qualitative: Determine whether metrics should be quantitative (numbers) or qualitative (descriptive). Some objectives might require both types of metrics.
  • Salesforce object model & SOQL experience preferred
  • Ability to work with deadlines and in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient with creating queries and analzing data using SQL, Excel, Salesforce Reports, Einstein Analytics
  • Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams
  • Adept at integrating disparate information, analyzing large tables of data, and interpreting correlations to build recommendations for the business
  • Regular Reviews: Schedule regular reviews with stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of the chosen metrics. Make adjustments if needed based on changing priorities or circumstances.
  • Experience in Customer Success, Customer Support, or Data Governance is a plus
  • Communication: Continuously communicate the progress and results based on the defined metrics to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
