Summary:

Trane in San Juan, Puerto Rico is looking for a Project Engineer. This role will assists in the preparation and maintenance of project plans, orders, billing analysis requirements to support the department.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and analyze reports (delivery , closing documents , billing analysis)
• Complete and follow the Project schedule.
• Generate submittals in Visio, plans reviews.
• Subcontract documentation (contact, proposal, Insurance )
• Tracks progress of project objectives against the project plan.
• Select / buying controls equipment (internal / external)
• Create graphics orders via Workfront.
• Coordinates the usage of resources to ensure they are integrated into the project.
• Support Control & Contracting Team with orders, billing , forecast.
• Identifies and resolves small problems encountered during the project to minimize delays, escalating problems when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Proficient with productivity & office tools (Visio, Oracle, Microsoft Project)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business administration or similar.

• Possess strong organizational and time management skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

• Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner.

Must be able to follow standard filing procedures.
