Project Engineer Jobs

The Mechanical Engineer will design and test all aspects of mechanical equipment and machinery related to the oil & gas industry.

Requirements

Designs Packaged Equipment Packages

Review P&ID and Structural drawings as needed for the creation of skid-packaged units

Uses computer-assisted design (CAD) software to create preliminary and detailed drawings of products and structural analysis.

Works with a design team to create process flow diagrams, equipment layouts, and fabrication drawings.

Perform mechanical design and fabrication for various types of hydraulic power and control units including conceptualization, material selection, assembly, testing, and validation.

Produces specifications for products and chooses raw materials and components to be used in production.

Required Skills/Abilities

Understanding of Hydraulics - Pressure, flow, etc.

Ability to work with a flexible mindset to handle multiple product lines and multiple projects simultaneously

Provide review and markups to structural drawings, piping drawings, P&IDS, testing procedures, operations manuals

Familiarity with HPU, TUTA, Chemical Injection, and Well Head Control Panels is a plus

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree In Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or Industrial Engineering

• 2+ years of experience in skid-mounted equipment within a manufacturing setting
