We are one of the largest natural gas distribution utility Companies in the United States. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting project managers within any of the following industries: Construction, Utilities, Civil Engineering, and Project Management. Salary: $95-110K Base salary
Job type: Direct-hire / Permanent
Location: Anaheim, CA, US (Hybrid in office once a week)

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for typing fast, managing deadlines, multitasking, providing updates, addressing concerns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role will require excellent organizational and reporting skills, strong attention to detail, and effective time-management skills.

What You Will Be Doing

- Address concerns and issues as they arise, and escalate as necessary
- Manage project documentation and reporting
- Perform administrative duties, including scheduling meetings and field visits
- Assist with procurement activities, including sourcing and purchasing materials and equipment
- Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines
- Support project managers with project coordination, including managing deadlines and multitasking
- Provide regular project updates to project managers and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Previous experience in project management or project coordination in any of the following industries: Construction, Utility, Engineering, Management
- Ability to type fast and effectively manage deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide updates and address concerns
- Technical skills or experience in web programming is a plus, but not required
- Strong organizational and reporting skills, with a high attention to detail
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office platforms, including Outlook (calendaring), PowerPoint, and Excel
- The ideal candidate will be local to Orange County or Inland Empire area, or willing to drive to LA, Orange, San Bernardino, and Riverside County 1-2/x a week for in-person meetings and/or field visits
