You can grow your career here while enjoying first-class perks, benefits and commitment to diversity and inclusion.OverviewThe Project Coordinator, Foundation, shall be responsible for coordinating and developing large scale, highly visible community health and wellness events and programs. The Project Coordinator, Foundation is also responsible for developing program curriculums that engage and empower underserved and at-risk populations and securing partnership opportunities that provide resources for families to adopt healthier lifestyles. The project coordinator should exhibit passion for community work and be dedicated to making a change in the community.Qualifications- High School diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.- Three (3) years of experience in project coordination, marketing, administrative office coordination, or member service required. Special events planning and/or community relations preferred. Background in Non-profit organization desired.- Ability to work with internal and external customers with tact, respect and confidence while understanding their needs.- PC and Windows skills required. Advanced Microsoft Office skills required including: Word, Excel, Power Point and Access preferred.- Proven ability to create advertising and promotional materials and promote programming successfully via social media platforms; Photo Shop/Adobe Illustrator experience desired.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong telephone skills required. Ability to effectively communicate and present to internal and external clients.- Use independent judgment and decision making to complete tasks. Performs non-standard assignments.- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to make important decisions to ensure successful outcomes/results of community programs and events.- Exhibit initiative, creativity and self-motivation.- Excellent time management skills with ability to work independently. Must be flexible and able to adjust to a constantly changing environment.- Must be able to work New Year's Eve, holiday's and on weekends/or evenings when an event occurs.- Must have access to a reliable means of transportation for local travel.- May be required to lift and move boxes (approx. 20lbs), transport necessary supplies to and from events and programs.- Proven examples of displaying the IH values: Passionate, Caring, Respectful, Trustworthy, Collaborative and Accountable.Essential AccountabilitiesA. Event Planning and Coordination- Coordinate and implement community outreach health and wellness events and programs. Review and analyze health and wellness trends, identify areas of concern and propose solutions to impact overall program strategy.B. Proposal Completion- Write articles, prepare newsletters, create and review grant applications and requirements, and draft and design community program promotional materials.C. Liaison for Events- Meet with internal and external clients/partners to coordinate and plan programs, conduct focus groups to enhance our efforts, and build sustainable relationships and align resources.D. Data Analysis- Analyze results of programs and events and evaluate the participant's level of satisfaction and research opportunities to improve outcomes.E.
