The project coordinator will coordinate the schedule, budget, issues, and risks of the project. It's their job to ensure theproject managementframework is well-organized and that it runs smoothly. This can include communicating with various departments in the organization to make sure everyone is on the same page. They will also be responsible for takeoffs, soliciting quotes, document control, subcontractors, purchase orders, RFI's, change orders, and budgets and will work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion, as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

Essential Functions:

  • Project progress should be recorded and communicated to Project Manager.
  • Monitor adherence to performance standards, specifications, QA/QC rules, and related regulations and processes.
  • Control the work's overall quality (budget, scope of work, timeline, plans, and employee performance) and provide regular updates on the project's progress reports.
  • Execute quality control activities on the project's budget, schedule, planning, and staff performance, and report on its progress.
  • Create project objectives and examine project proposals and plans.
  • Assisting with resource scheduling so that team members have the resources they need to complete their tasks.
  • Scheduling client meetings and facilitating communication between the project manager and clients throughout the project life cycle.
  • Create project specs after carefully examining performance criteria, client demands, and product design.
  • Assist the project manager in the development of project management documents such as project budgets, project schedules, scope statements, and project plans.
  • Executing a variety of project management administrative tasks as directed by Project Manager.
  • Choose the stages and components of the project.
  • Assist the project manager and other participants by working together and communicating clearly to provide technical support.
  • Ensure that the project adheres to all relevant codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and requirements.
  • Organize, coordinate, and oversee assigned projects.
  • Gather and evaluate project data to produce progress reports and suggest the next steps.
  • Analyze performance and the achievement of important objectives.
  • Regulate practices and regulations to keep the project team's workspace secure and hygienic.

Competencies:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Able to learn AGTEK 3D, Bluebeam, and HCSS Heavy Bid.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
