Project Coordinator Jobs

We are currently seeking a highly organized and self-driven Project Coordinator to join our team supporting our continued missionto build interconnected and resilient communities.

Objective:

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in assisting project managers and teams in the planning, execution, and monitoring of a variety of advanced research and community-based projects such as:the Schenectady Community Virtual Power Plant project [link], blockchain based energy trading platform [link], among others.

Primary Responsibilities for the role (including, but not limited to):

• Preparing purchase requisitions (PRs) and tracking procurements and service contracts
• Demonstrate ability to work on a diverse set of projects in a fast paced collaborative environment with evolving project requirements
• Supporting business office in setting up financial structures, work breakdown structures, and maintaining financial integrity
• Assist in daily coordination of project(s) including preparing and maintaining project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements, tracking progress to ensure on-time and within budget project delivery

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

• A passion and interest in the energy sector (utility, renewable developer or other energy company)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Highly organized and able to multi-task
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Passion for renewable energy
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• 1+ years of experience in project management or a similar role
