Role Description
Brizo Construction is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to support a housing program for the repair and reconstruction of hurricane-damaged homes in South Alabama. The office location will be in the Mobile, AL area and the project is anticipated to start in July 2023 the duration is approximately 2 years.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating intake and management of eligible housing recipients from pre-construction to construction completion.
- Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
- Coordinating and attending preconstruction meetings and assisting with the development of the scope of work.
- Coordinating with field staff on trade schedules, material deliveries, and field documentation.
- Responsible for submitting and managing all job permits.
- Ensuring the project adheres to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager in an orderly and efficient manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction management or a similar discipline
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
- Intermediate to Excellent Microsoft skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
- Up to 1 year of experience in the construction industry is preferred.
