Project Coordinator (Entry Level)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with the Project Manager to ensure the participation of cross-functional stakeholders in furthering project goals. With organization and prioritization skills, this candidate will organize the necessary pieces to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Ability to read and interpret specs and blue prints, assisting in analyzing curtain wall drawings, specifications and related information to determine design requirements.
• Work with internal and external parties to organize various components needed to initiate, run and conclude major projects, including but not limit to communicating with design & procurement & fabrication teams, coordinating and communicating with clients, architects, consultants and sub-contractors.
• Assist and support project manager with a variety of projects to include: change orders, RFI’s, shop drawings and material sample submittals, job meetings, billing and project set-up including, equipment leasing, arranging labor, purchasing materials and tracking cost.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate with related project personnel to ensure project is on schedule
• Supervise logistics, system installation and changes.

Qualifications

• Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese (Working with overseas teams is required)
• Experience in construction especially Curtain Wall industry is an asset
• Degree or Diploma in Architectural Sciences, Civil/Mechanical Engineering or Project/Construction Management
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, basic knowledge of AutoCAD, knowledge of BIM is an asset
