Job Description

Are you a Jr. Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Project Assistant (or similar) who has strong communication skills and a problem solver, one who can pivot quickly and address urgent needs properly, while being able to support a program management team?

As a Project Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a full range of project support such as meeting scheduling to higher level activities such as project management functions and budget support. you will be developing tools to simplify project management processes (such as templates, budgeting tools, and deliverable checklists), writing or editing project documents (such as Scope Definition, Risk Assessment, Requirements Definition, and Requests for Proposals), defining and documenting project management processes and research issues. You will also be responsible for managing change control and defect tracking.

This is a 6-month contract opportunity that is located in Milwaukee, WI with competitive compensation. Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Experience assisting in the tracking of projects using appropriate project management-related tools and techniques
  • 1+ years experience as a project assistant/ management
  • Experience coordinating and scheduling project team meetings, as well as updating support meetings with stakeholders
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in assisting with the collection, compilation, and analysis of data relative to a program
  • Experience in writing reports and other project-related documentation
