Job Description

Seeking a Program Manager with DOD customer experience to support our work @ China Lake, CA. Must have an active security clearance.


Description:

  • Manage relationships with commercial vendors, customers, system users, and internal staff.
  • Manage the Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M); ensuring all technical program activities are identified and accounted for properly.
  • Perform the duties of a supervisor for several contractor staff.
  • Coordinate and monitor multiple actions, schedules, tasks and meetings.
  • Coordinate all projects and their interdependences, develop and align all task order deliverables as required by the SOW
  • Exhibit excellent communication & interpersonal skills, and the ability to work and lead effectively in a team environment. The ability to learn and master new technologies and deliver quality products within short time frames is critical.
  • Support the staffing process (i.e. review resumes, participate in interviews, support decision making process)
  • Have practical experience managing complex DoD programs
  • Coordinate time, budget, and resources to complete the work within the program guidelines
  • Plan for and track financial data and generate reports
  • Oversee the operations of complex technical program


Requirements:

The selected candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of professional experience and a Master’s degree in a business or science/technical field from an accredited college or university or 16 years of professional experience and a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a business or science/technical field. Experience must demonstrate the ability to supervise, direct, and coordinate a variety of Information Technology (IT) work. Experience shall include performing contractual, financial, and administrative work to include, at a minimum, project controls, strategic management, and senior level communication. The Manager shall have a strong understanding of cyber security.
