NBCUniversal’s Technical Operations (Tech Ops) team is seeking a Program Manager who will be instrumental in managing key relationships while overseeing large-scale technology programs and managing Marketing Supply Chain efforts for the Program Management team within the Tech Ops PMO. This person will be instrumental in developing processes for a critical subportfolio while also managing a high-profile program. The wide range of services provided by Tech Ops includes delivery of critical film and television assets and distribution of on-demand content and live streaming events to the web and mobile devices for Peacock and other video experiences. Our systems and services are used by organizations throughout NBCUniversal including Peacock, NBC News, NBC Entertainment, Entertainment & Lifestyle Brands, and NBC Sports.


Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from NBCUniversal's Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of three days per week.


Responsibilites


  • Manage multiple competing projects across internal development squads and act as first point of escalation for all issues and concerns
  • Maintain frequent communication with peers and working groups across NBCUniversal to ensure team is delivering what is needed to our portfolio of brands and business units
  • Create project charters, host project kick-offs, create project plans, status docs and financial reports
  • Contribute to defining best practices, processes, and documentation for the Program Management team
  • Hands-on management of efforts to support our Marketing Supply Chain program of projects, including managing the strategic roadmap and improving existing processes
  • Relationship management of our TV & Streaming subportfolio, which includes project intake, prioritization, and high-level requirements gathering for all product lines
  • Monitor project progress and all outstanding project concerns, including but not limited to, tracking Jira tickets, timelines, and issues and risks lists and communicate updates to colleagues and management


Qualifications


  • Self-starter that demonstrates initiative and ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft 365, PowerPoint, and Excel applications. Experience with the Atlassian suite of products
  • 2+ years’ experience with interacting with all levels of management and stakeholders; must be able to articulate technical concepts and solutions to both a deeply technical and non-technical audience
  • Must have client services & PowerPoint presentation creation experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years equivalent experience in Media Technology, Computer Science or Internet Technology
  • 2+ years’ experience managing programs or large-scale projects with delivery accountability
  • Solid organizational skills with ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment
  • Working knowledge of marketing supply chains, video streaming platforms, media campaign management, and / or marketing analytics & Neilson data

  • Ability to lead and present information in face-to-face presentations to varied audiences, including executive management

  • Be analytical and process-oriented and able to apply structure to complex problems
  • Experience in US Media & News environment highly preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate troubleshooting techniques and problem solve with minimal direction
  • Exceptional technical, analytical, organizational, research, and presentation skills
  • Attention to details - extremely organized with an eye for prioritization, efficiency & optimization
