Position Description & Requirements
Meucci is seeking an outstanding person to manage education sector programs and projects focused
on digital skilling and future of work, and educator capacity building relative to teaching STEM and computer science curriculums.
Desirable candidates will have experience managing results-based projects/programs that engage government officials, educators, and community and industry stakeholders. The ideal candidate will also have some experience with developing and managing performance monitoring plans. Highly desirable candidates will have a K-12 background as an educator and/or significant experience leading teacher
capacity building projects related to computer science and computational thinking curriculums.
Candidates who are a Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE), Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) or who have other similar certifications in the Edtech space are particularly encouraged to apply.
Years of Experience and Education Requirements
·Minimum BA/BS degree
·Graduate level degree in Education/ Education Technology other relevant discipline highly
desirable)
·Experience in developing curriculums and/or developing instructional design
·Experience in training K-12 educators in any of the following areas: integrating STEM curriculums
into coursework, using Edtech, or in how to teach computer science courses
·At least 5-7 years program or project management experience
· At least 2 years’ business development experience; including experience drafting marketing
materials, project summaries; and drafting technical sections for competitive bids
Furthermore, the Program Manager should have impressive critical thinking skills and the ability to lead human centered design approaches.This person should possess excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing. Note that a writing sample will be requested as part of the interview process.As importantly, Meucci values candidates who demonstrate honesty, social intelligence, kindness, respect for self and others, a strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
Major Responsibilities
·Manage the roll-out an implementation of programs and projects, including activities, work plans
·Educator/instructor train-the-training
·Lead/support the design of educator/instructor capacity building programs
·Draft scopes of work and workplans
·Supervision of support staff
·Liaison with project consultants, technical experts and trainers
·Serve as a client liaison
·Support corporate business development activities, including capture planning, technical proposal
writing
·Draft content: case studies and white papersproject reportsdraft project summaries and project
knowledge sharing documents
·Other suitable activities as assigned
