The Company’s primary businesses focus on jet engine components, aerospace fastening systems and titanium structural parts necessary for mission-critical performance and efficiency in aerospace and defense applications, as well as forged wheels for commercial transportation.
Our Savannah Operations is a heavy industrial Forging manufacturing plant located in Midway, Georgia, employs approximately 150 people and is poised for growth!
We have immediate openings for Production Trainees. The Production Trainee position is an hourly entry level manufacturing job and can be placed in any one of our major departments: Forge, ISO, and Machine Shop.
Candidates will perform a variety of tasks including the following: setting up the presses, assisting with die changes, manually moving product in and out of the furnace, checking temperatures, operating equipment for machining and inspections, operating hand tools, and other related general manufacturing work.
Starting wage of $19.00/hour with a pay increase upon receiving level 1 qualifications (within 3 ½ - 6 months depending on candidate training). Candidates will be subject to a 90 day probationary and training period.
Job Requirements:
- This position requires overtime on Fridays as needed and directed by operations
- Candidates must be able to work any shift (days, nights, or weekends)
- Candidates must have the flexibility to rotate in different positions throughout the plant
- Subject to preemployment contingencies: drug test, physical, and background check

Basic Qualifications:
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience operating mobile equipment
- 1+ years of experience using hand tools, power tools, and other related equipment
- 1+ years of manufacturing experience
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in extreme heat and extreme cold conditions.
Continuously required to wear common Protective or Safety Equipment such as Safety Shoes, Glasses, Gloves, Hearing Protection, Hard Hats.
Ability to use computers.
Ability to read and understand work instructions.
Ability to hear and understand verbal instructions.
Continuously required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The ability to raise/lower an object with control by reaching near floor, knee, waist, or chest levels.
The ability to keep or regain balance or remain upright when walking on varying surfaces.
The ability to make precisely coordinated movements with fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, place or assemble.
