Job Posting Title Production Supervisor
Summary AAM's Production Supervisors oversee the work of production associates and coordinates with leaders of production support staff to monitor production floor performance and provide feedback. Production Supervisors oversee the planning, scheduling, setup, and running of production activities. Supervisors also lead the dispersal and distribution of materials for production and maintain labor and material requirements to meet the daily production schedule.

Supervises production employees in your department and manage the flow of production
Oversees process control, observing process volume and recommending process adjustments
Completes production processes by monitoring progress; expediting material flow and work results; resolving problems
Improves process workflow by eliminating stoppages; analyzing delays; testing new methods
Records production by completing daily shift production reports; calculating yields and recoveries
Maintains process flow by communicating production status, requirements, and problems to next shift
Maintains labor and material requirements to meet the daily production schedule.
Maintains working relationship with union, where applicable, by following the terms of the (CBA)
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy production environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; alerting others regarding potential concerns
Contributes to production process and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results
Coordinates maintenance of production equipment.
All other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Education
Associates Degree in related field or combination of education and experience
5+ years of Production Floor Supervision Experience
Experience working with union employees
Experience in forging or press operation preferred
