Productions Supervisor-Food Manufacturing

Working time is usually 7:00 am to finish. The candidate will work OT and one of the weekends. (Saturday or Sunday)

Pay starts from $17.50 to $19.00 depending on experience.

Summary

The Production Supervisor I is responsible for overseeing the execution of the facility production plans in the following departments. Assembly, Prep, Pizza line, Housekeeping, and Picking. The Supervisor I role will be roughly 50% Plan Develop and 50% Plan Execution.

Principal Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Evaluate dept. plans and personnel.
• Monitor dept workflow and report any issues on Quality, Productivity, Safety to Dept manager.
• Supervise dept setup and execution.
• Product orders meet CDC dispatch goals.
• Follow-up with customer shortages, damages, and misprocesses. The actions the person will be measured on are:
• Plan and execute training plan with managers for New Product, Cross Training, General Training, Equipment, Safety.
• Make real-time dept plan changes when needed. Personnel, Equipment, Production Schedule.
• Meet/Exceed production order fill rates.
• Drive productivity goals and expectations.
• Understand company’s GMPs, SOP, SSOP, and Product quality set by the operation team and monitor whether, or not the Production system properly works.
• Develop dept audits, monitor the execution, and report the results to the management team.
• Set daily production goals with a solid plan.
• Follow product spec and reduce/eliminate misprocesses.
• Meet productivity goals.
• Ensure product orders are complete and yield loss documented.
• Be flexible to coordinate dept plan changes with supervisors, line leads, and outside departments.
• Understand, Collect, and Complete dept data collection. Distribute data when needed. Reports, Work orders, etc.

• Review Department Operations (Assembly, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Prep, Pizza, and Picking)
• Weekly Warabeya Internal Meeting
• Weekly Department Schedule
• Update Production Whiteboard
• Setup Employee Training
• Weekly Employee Schedule
• Daily Task
• Complete Miscellaneous task
• Review Department Reports (Assembly, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Prep, Pizza, and Picking)
• Product Review Meeting
• RD Data Reports
• Daily Supervisor Reports
• Review Product Quality
• Review Productivity

Position Requirements

• HACCP experience required.
• Strong work ethic.
• Knowledge/Experience of a food manufacturing environment.
• USDA and FDA experience required.
• MS Knowledge
• Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and drive a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
