Seneca Foods Corporation in Janesville, WI is currently looking for a qualified and energetic Production Supervisor to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Direct and supervise all prodcution processes to ensure products meet specifications.
• Encourage and promote teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Train all employees to complete their job in a safe and efficient manner.
• Meet production costs that are equal to or less than standard.
• Assist in developing plant budgets and daily production plans.
• Ensure the safety of all employees.
• Make decisions regarding product quality, employee relations and equipment breakdowns.
• Supervise, lead and coordinate the activities of a production department to achieve company goals.
• Oversee Sanitaton.
• Complete daily production requirements in a cost effective manner which meet or exceed all food safety, good manufacturing practice and employee safety expectations.

Qualifications:

• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
• Certified or able to become certified in Better Process Control School, Thermal Processing and Container Closure.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 2 to 5 years related experience and/or training.
• Ablility to work with all levels of the organization
• Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment
