Production Supervisor Jobs

SUMMARY

The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

General Qualifications

• Oversee and coach employees
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
• Knowledge or experience with Workday a plus
• Check production output according to specifications
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
• Submit reports on performance and progress
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
• As part of the leadership team, you will manage 10-15 direct reports
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
• Knowledge or experience with Payroll Systems, ADP or Kronos a plus
• Track, monitor and process payroll
• Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises employees in the Production Process Departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools

• Problem-solving skills
• 3 + Years Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role

Education and/or Experience

• Technical Degree or training in Supervisory Skills
• High School Diploma Required
