What You'll Do:

This Production Supervisor position contributes to the success of PepsiCo by directing the manufacturing front line team to meet customer needs and achieve standards related to cost, line efficiencies, waste, safety and productivity. You will align the team to achieve production performance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Applies knowledge of TPM processes, equipment and system capability for individual and facility standards.
  • Delivers effective change leadership to drive business changes while minimizing people impact
  • Develops and leads a cross functional/departmental team to take on day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
  • Builds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel
  • Administer policies and procedures
  • Sets and achieves performance standards with regards to safety, line utilization and quality
  • This role requires you to work off-shift and weekend work
  • Production Raw material ordering to ensure it is ordered timely and tracked to communicate production scheduling needs.
  • Able to develop strong management of daily inventory including counts and period close responsibilities.
  • Ensures compliance with all health & safety regulations
  • Oversees and ensures facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime
  • Motivates team members to achieve plan goals by having a regular presence on the plant floor
  • Tracks key performance indicators/costs, anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targets
  • This role may operate manufacturing equipment occasionally
Compensation & Benefits:
• The expected compensation range for this position is between $56,900 - $95,300• Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary• Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually• Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement• In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Demonstrated planning and organization skills
  • A minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
  • Safe driving record strongly preferred
  • Ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment
  • Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, validated by your successful completion of a major improvement project
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills - Proven front-line supervisory skills and ability to lead a team-based approach to decision-making
