Summary/Objective:

The Warehouse Supervisor position is responsible for supervising warehouse employees in a warehouse environment. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.

Required Education And Experience

• Project Management, 5+ years
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required, 1-3 years.
• WMS experience, 5-6 years
• Critical Thinking and problem-solving skills, 2-4 years
• High School Diploma
• Possess good leaderships skills, 3-5 years
• Possess conflict resolution skills, 4-6 years

Essential Functions:

• Perform other duties as assigned
• Follow all safety rules and company policies and ensure that all personnel in the department adhere to the policies and procedures
• Oversee all warehouse operations in absence of Warehouse Manager
• Monitor all department leads within the assigned shift
• Responsible for ensuring LCI quality standards are followed.
• Work directly with Human Resources on payroll and edits.
• Complete and submit organizational paperwork to include days off requests, employee evaluations / rate changes, and corrective actions.
• Assist with warehouse staffing
• Assure each department within the shift has the direction needed to complete daily tasks
• Oversee Department Leads and assist with overall warehouse responsibilities wthin assigned shift
• Work with Department Leads and Warehouse Associates to resolve any issues or conflicts

• Must be able to read and process written communication including, but not limited to measurements, directions, instructions, etc.
• Must be able to prioritize and easily adapt to changes through the day.
• Must be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow employees, customers, etc.
• Must be able to work as a part of a team to achieve the company’s overall goals
• Must be able to work under physically and mentally stressful situations
• Must possess critical thinking and successful problem-solving skills.
• Must demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills (English)

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has the following positions reporting to it:

• Team Leaders
• Supervision of 1-5 employees

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The Team Member may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a 2nd shift position.

Travel will be minimal to none and would be primarily local during the business day.
