Job Summary

We're seeking a responsible Manufacturing Supervisor to assist the Manufacturing team with daily functions that will support many facets of the company. Supervisor role is responsible for translating the objectives of our organization into the tasks that the team needs to accomplish. You will provide direction to the production team to accomplish daily manufacturing goals with an emphasis on quality. The ideal candidate will have strong multitasking and organizational skills, as you will deal with a high volume to be successful in this role, you will need to be punctual, organized, meticulous, flexible, open to change, proficient in time management and computer savvy. This is a full-time hourly position.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform production reporting on productivity, KPI’s.
• Manage operator’s performance, ensure that goals are met. Create plans to reach goals and help operators improve in performance.
• Conduct reviews, corrective actions, interviews and fill in on occasional separations
• Perform other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by your manager
• Report and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays to maintain alignment with budget expectations
• Responsible for dispensing, controlling, and managing PPE monitored materials.
• Work with Production Manager to resolve worker issues or submit unsettled issues to manager
• Schedule and ensure an adequate level of trained employees on the plant floor
• Work with Production Manager to resolve worker issues or submit unsettled issues to Human resources for action
• Create work assignments, schedule overtime and other administrative duties including approval of timesheets.
• Work with Management to develop or revise standard operational and working practices and observe workers to ensure compliance within company, federal, state safety and occupational regulations
• Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization
• Train, mentor, and guide plant personnel to success while maintaining morale and safety. You will be responsible for ensuring adequate level of performance, discipline, integrity, and productivity of employees.
• Learn and maintain thorough knowledge of all manufacturing processes and equipment.

Salary

$64480 USD per year

Required Skills

• Handson and mechanically inclined capabilities are a plus.
• 2 Years Production Experience
• Good leadership skills, administrative skills, organizational skills and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Excel, METRC and Google Docs.
• Can work in a FAST environment
• Ability to work with teams and lead decision-making process in a team environment
• 3-5 Years supervisory/leadership experience; preferred
• Highly motivated, results oriented, driven.
