Production Supervisor Jobs

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Tanks

• Maintain weekly employee attendance records
• Oversee training on work instruction, procedures and safety for subordinates
• Provides updates to manager on testing progress
• Support Engineering with development of new processes
• Provide day to day supervision of employee job execution, to include; training, performance evaluation and employee relation
• Organization of completed tanks
• Monitor production preventive maintenance
• Assist with in-process and finished product inventory, quarterly
• Other duties as assigned
• Coordinate employees’ schedule such as overtime, vacation and attendance
• Ensure all products have proper identification
• Review and approve employee weekly time sheets
• Must ensure that all company policies and procedures are being enforced and adhered to at all times
• Review inspection results and resin usage of each shell and document findings on a Non-Conformance Report (NCR)
• Motivate employees to give maximum efforts in a professional manner
• Ensure that all safety procedures are being followed
• Attain production goals as specified by Plant Manager
• Maintain accurate production data
• Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of equipment and materials in the fabrication area
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
• Operate all forklift equipment as needed
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
• Hold departmental meetings as needed to discuss updates and/or changes in company policies, procedures, goals, etc.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures
• Wear appropriate PPE
• Assist Engineering with quality issues in the field
• Maintain spreadsheet of inventory of finished shells and tanks and update after each shift
• Ensure all required documentation, for each job, is correct and organized in each job history folder
• Coordinate set-up of new jobs ensuring that Job Sheets, Materials, Personnel and Equipment are adequately allocated
