Production Supervisor Jobs

The Unit Leader is responsible for maintaining documentation as required regarding process capability ofmachining operations. The Unit Leader will train and guide team leaders and team members in theimplementation of process capability in the machining lines. Assist with the updating of job instructions,one point lessons and pre-flight checklists. Monitor losses in production and work with the team toidentify and implement corrective actions. Monitor the corrective and remedial actions required inresponse to centering of production processes. Analyze process parameters influencing product variationand assist production teams and engineers in the identification of root cause and coordination of processimprovement/saving actions. Participate in PFMEA (process failure model effects analysis) activities in theblock, crank and head lines. Participate in the implementation of the AM (autonomous maintenance), PM(professional maintenance), QC (quality control), FI (focused improvement), and PD (peopledevelopment) pillar standards in machining lines using World Class Manufacturing methodology.Participate in the analysis of equipment performance as measured in O.E.E. (overall equipmenteffectiveness) by identifying/addressing reasons for loss in machining lines. Order and maintain (holding)stock of spare parts as necessary to ensure continuous quality output. Define/update Job Element Sheetsfor changes and improvements in the What, How, and Why format and assist production teams intracking KPI's (key performance indicators) including, but not limited to FIS (factory information systems),MPTS, QDAS, TMS (total maintenance systems). Step in as the Production Business Unit Leader asrequired. Support all activities required by the Production Business Unit Leader to improve safety, quality,delivery, and cost.
