Job Description
Tri-Pac, Inc. a contract development and manufacturing company (CDMO) specializing in liquid and aerosol filling for personal care and pharmaceutical marketers, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for immediate addition to our fast growing team.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the skills to be self-motivated and driven to direct their team to perform at high levels within a metric/OEE environment. The Production Supervisor must also have the people skills to develop associates in the realm of safety, quality, efficiency, cost utilization and create well defined written job descriptions. Manages daily schedules with verbal communication focusing all efforts on common goals. This position is a company leader, key in the continuous improvement process including annual, job specific and safety training.


Responsibilities:


  • Utilizing the daily schedule and long-term planning, work with HR and Safety to assure the proper staffing is secured to meet our needs.
  • Understand line standards to drive labor and OEE metrics.
  • Communicates with Production Line Leaders so they understand the production plan and goals, both current and long-term.
  • Administers and monitors production paperwork so it is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Helps interpret, apply and enforce all company policies, programs, rules, regulations, labor and safety rules.
  • Drives Key Performance Indicators within Production
  • Recognized Leader in Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Be a resource for all Production Operators to problem solve and new idea sharing resulting in a cohesive, collaborative and safe work environment.
  • Working with the Training & Development Specialist, make sure the proper training is in place for each associate working on the production floor.
  • Be a leader in the continuous improvement activities (development and implementation)


Education And/or Experience


  • Quality Assurance experience, preferred in a pharmaceutical/food/Contract manufacturing environment
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Required 3-5 years in manufacturing or operations, preferably in a food/pharmaceutical or Contract Packing environment
  • Thorough working knowledge to Safety (culture change) and GMP/FDA
  • Experience in Continuous Improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or equivalent work experience
  • Education or experience in Contract Manufacturing with an emphasis in Metric driven workplace, people skills and communication capabilities especially in liquid/aerosol packaging
