Job Description
Basic Function: The Production Planner collaborates with customer service, engineering, and production in support of Radiac Abrasives manufacturing programs.


Responsibilities:


  • Process work flow required to respond and adjust to our customer's requirements.
  • Compile information for reporting as required
  • Facilitate clearing of technical post processing work flow for production orders.
  • Create production orders for rework, remake, internal use, and development.
  • Partners with customer service, engineering and production to develop, execute, and monitor Material Requirement Planning (MRP) to meet customers’ delivery requirements while effectively utilizing resources.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Monitor exception groups to ensure we are producing all that is required and only that which is required.


Skills:


  • Proficient in SAP.
  • Proficient with computer programs such as Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Understanding of MRP systems and principles.
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Understand manufacturing processes.
  • Strong Organizational Skills.


Experience and Education:


  • 4-6 years of progressive manufacturing experience.
  • College degree preferred


Essential Physical Requirements:


  • 20/20 vision required with or without correction.
  • Ability to use a computer.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to use hands, sit, stand, and or walk 100% of the workday.
