Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00
: Busy envelope printing and converting company in VA is searching to hire a Production Manager. Responsibilities include: Develop and manage the daily/weekly/monthly goals for the envelope department to ensure that company meets weekly capacity and scheduling and delivery requirements. Minimize costs wherever possible and ensure that Best Work Practices are maintained. Responsible for a 2 shift operation including printing and envelope converting operations. Responsible for scheduling, production, quality and on-time delivery of envelope production. Lead, coach and develop high performing teams. Continuously identify areas for Process Improvements using data. Budgetary responsibilities. Qualifications include: Minimum of 5 years' production or operations management experience in envelope manufacturing operations. Minimum 10 years' experience in envelope manufacturing industry. Good technical knowledge of envelope converting operations. Experience using Continuous Improvement Practices to improve efficiencies, reduce waste and down times. Excellent communication skills engaging with hourly and management personnel. Strong leadership, mentoring and employee training skills. Excellent decision making abilities. Budgetary experience.
