JOB MISSION:

As an important member of the 3D Visualization-Apparel team, the Production Artist- Apparel will support the department as it relates to creating seasonal photo real 3D apparel assets, Toolkit items, and exploring future technologies and ways of working in 3D. The role will work collaboratively with teams to deliver digital requests on time, with the quality and quantity required. Under the guidance of the Manager of 3D Visualization-Apparel, this role will provide you with the opportunity to grow your 3D skillset in a global brand setting.

The ideal candidate has an apparel background, a high level of experience in CLO 3D, and an interest in creating elevated 3D visuals such as animations, concept and detail shots. Experience in additional 3D softwares such as Modo, Blender, Zbrush, Maya, or Cinema4D a plus but not necessary.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Support in creation and enhancement of seasonal 3D Libraries such as Avatars, trims, labels, etc.
• Support in 3D training sessions for Design and Tech Design teammates
• Assist in creation of 3D visuals and animations for presentations to showcase technology, design elements and features.
• Assist in exploring new technologies and tools to improve our 3D pipeline
• Ensuring 3D assets are accurate digital interpretations of designs while maintaining brand standards for 3D product.
• Coloring, texturing, and rendering of seasonal 3D Assets

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

• Able to adapt to change and revisions
• Understanding of apparel sewing and construction techniques
• 1-2 years working in Apparel industry
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication
• Proficient in CLO3D software
• Systems Knowledge: CLO, Illustrator, Photoshop, Outlook a must. Modo, Blender, Zbrush, Maya or Cinema4D a plus but not necessary
• Continuous learner
• Strong organization and time management skills

Flexible Work Schedule

Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
