Job Description
Summary


The Production Administrator under the direction of the Director of Manufacturing is responsible for ensuring Paylocity is up to date daily for all production shifts, pull attendance reports as requested, generate transfer forms and turns into HR in a timely manner, and supports production managers in other duties such as performing scrap or production entries into ERP system, cycle counting of raw materials and ordering of production supplies.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities


This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.


  • Help document SOP’s for the department.
  • On a weekly basis print out new PM paperwork for all production areas.
  • Scan completed PM paperwork into production drive folders.
  • Assists with production and scrap entries into Sage ERP daily.
  • For new hires, schedule employees with HR for the onboarding process.
  • Be able to use RF scanning processes.
  • Assist production managers with generating all personnel transfer documents required by HR and where needed get the necessary sign off’s/approvals.
  • Daily monitor Paylocity for missed punches and provide info to managers.
  • Generates Paylocity reports as needed by Director of Manufacturing.
  • Generates Paylocity attendance report for all Production Managers as requested.
  • Ensure Paylocity notes are documented for clarity of occurrences.
  • Paylocity – keep all three shifts Paylocity up to date daily with all absences recorded, PTO, excused and unexcused occurrences.
  • Assist with performing cycle counts, counting raw materials and provide info on discrepancies.
  • Train to become a viable back up with generating work tickets for production.
  • On a daily/weekly basis, take inventory of all production consumables and advise what is needed by providing a purchase request to Director of Manufacturing.


Education And/or Experience


  • Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees.
  • Requires education generally equivalent to a High School Diploma, plus some specialized training.
  • Requires 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Requires mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide and perform metric conversions.
  • Requires a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
