Product Specialist, Mckesson Brands

Position Description

Professionally and effectively interface with suppliers and internal stakeholders to handle a variety of pre-integration or post-integration data and product addition functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicating with cross-functional departments in order to coordinate accurate attributes in McKesson’s systems relating to suppliers, products, and labeling/branding
• Respond to basic inquiries regarding products, pricing and integration processes in a timely and professional manner
• Attend and participate at various meetings with internal stake holders
• Coordinate and manage project tracking tools for Private Label product launches and be able to answer questions on status of projects.
• Research supplier and product information for integration related projects and processes. Set up new items, suppliers, and add other data in McKesson applications (coordinating with various teams throughout the process)
• Managing product and supplier data within the system

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ years healthcare or comparable industry experience

Critical Skills

• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office including; Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

• Professional communication; strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with internal/external customers including suppliers and co-workers
• Keyboarding abilities at a medium proficiency level
• All other duties as deemed necessary including, but not limited to, phone support and special projects.
• Successfully meet all performance standards/objectives of the role
• Able to effectively work in a team environment collaborating and ensuring open communication to achieve timely completion of all assigned tasks.
• Able to prioritize and multi-task in order to meet various deadlines and company timeline expectations.
• Experience using APTTUS preferred
• General knowledge of alt site distribution industry
• Energetic self-starter with attention to detail who can be resourceful with issue resolution.
• Strong problem-solving skills: able to analyze information provided, identify the root issue, and use resources appropriately to solve basic problems/questions in a timely manner.
