Raeford is one of Unilever's largest Personal Care sites in the world. the Quality Specialist will support the implementation of Unilever specifications, standards, and Quality Management system (QMS)for quality assurance and controls in alignment with applicable regulatory requirements (FDA regulations for Cosmetics and Drugs).
This key quality role ensures systems are in place to comply with local and International regulatory requirements and drives site quality improvement activities to ensure product, consumer safety, overall quality and address consumer and customer issues.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do
  • Utilizes advanced knowledge of category and technology detains and requirements to support site innovation and changes.
  • Supports and participates in in Quality Pillar activities for UMS program.
  • Leads implementation of UL Quality Management System (QMS) in Veeva Quality One at the site to assure consumer safety and overall quality of final product being manufactured.
  • Leads effort to verify and document compliance to regulatory requirements applicable to quality and consumer safety, and to ethnic and religious requirements. Includes the FDA.
  • Manages SAP QM Systems and Unilever specifications including PLM and supports verification of use for quality purposes.
  • Leads the review process and management of the factory SOPs/Document Management through Veeva Quality One to ensure that UL and other applicable standards are accurately represented.
  • Leads the factory Management of Change program.
  • Leads efforts to complete and maintain external audits and certifications.
  • Leads the implementation and maintenance of systems where key quality data and information are recorded and preserved and assures, they meet regulatory requirements.
  • Drives quality focus improvement activities through the use of advanced tools such as SPC and digital capabilities.

What You’ll Need To Succeed
  • A minimum of 3 year of related Quality experience
  • FDA/GXP experience
  • Exceptional computer skills to include Microsoft and SAP
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline or science
  • 2-4 years of Manufacturing

Pay: The pay range for this position is $83,200 to $124,700. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
