Job Description
Position Overview:

The Subscription and Payment Solutions Product Owner role will build and execute subscriptions and payment solutions for customers using company products and subscription services. The Product Owner will interact with the stakeholders, developers, analysts, and business leads to create a strategic prioritization of features adding value and drive innovation and revenue. They will serve as the soup-to-nuts product leader from ideation and requirements gathering through deployment and lifecycle management.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage product backlog (PBL). Define User Stories with detailed Acceptance Criteria that meet a Definition of Ready; participate in daily standup and sprint reviews of engineering work products.
  • Incorporate internal and external stakeholder feedback to generate features that deliver true business value to the end user.
  • Drive the subscription and payment solutions long-term strategy and roadmap focusing on integrating with the Navistar digital ecosystem providing customers to subscribe and pay for the services offered by Navistar.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, UX, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Care on near- and long-term product roadmaps and drive cohesion across the organization.
  • Define and manage KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to track performance in achieving product success.
Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 6 years of technical project/program management experience
  • At least 1 year of lead experience
  • Master’s degree
OR
  • At least 8 years of technical project/program management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 1 year of lead experience
OR
  • At least 10 years of technical project/program management experience
  • At least 1 year of lead experience
Additional Requirements:
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
Desired Skills:
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible work experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or similar role using an Agile software development process in Connected Technology.
  • 5+ years of experience in working on subscription management or payment solutions
  • MBA
  • Passionate about customer satisfaction
  • Technical degree in IT (Information Technology), systems, or data analytics
  • Deep knowledge of the various subscription models.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Deep understanding of the Connected Vehicle Ecosystem and Integrations framework (API)
  • Pragmatic problem solver and can focus attention on technical details (i.e., take complex problems and break them down into components)
  • The strong initiative required, with the ability to work independently when needed
  • 5+ years of managing system-level architecture and enterprise system design.
