Clear-Com is currently recruiting for a Product Manager . The Product Manager is responsible for collecting and managing the market requirements, building business cases, and specifying for new developments, life-cycle management, pricing, and market analysis of a given Clear-com Product Line.
What you will do in the position:
Development and Implementation of Product Strategy
- Builds product attractiveness-to-market strategies and competitive advantage.
- Seeks out key customers, externally and internally, that will help to formulate the development strategy.
- Participates in the departmental roadmap reviews and works to provide cross-product strategies.
- Seeks out competitive information at trade shows and from trade publications.
- Gathers and communicates market intelligence and competitor analysis with appropriate Executives and Sales and Marketing team members as new competitive data is discovered.
Sales and Marketing Support and Collaboration
- Conducts product training for Sales and Application Engineers and helps with customer demos and support.
- Supports Sales with key accounts/projects, particularly where non-standard products are required or requested.
- Works with Marketing, develop product literature and organize product training for the worldwide sales team.
Product Champion
- Acts as the product champion (development product sponsor), working closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to achieve product release targets.
- Serves as the product expert of the product line, provides support and leadership to the NPD team, and provides support to Sales, Mar-Coms, and Application Engineers to achieve sales and marketing goals.
What you will need to succeed in this position:
- BA or BS (college graduate) - Required
- Full understanding of the product design process including the principles of Agile Development.
- Skilled in PC documents and numerical tools.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to travel worldwide as needed. (Expect to be out of the office 25-30% of the time).
- Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent knowledge of Clear-Com classical business markets (such as Broadcast and Live) and an understanding of the secondary markets (such as MAG and Industrial) with respect to the given product group.
- Strong business acumen, highly-motivated self-starter with strong accountability and reliability, and ability to think strategically.
- Technical competence in audio and communication systems.
- 3+ years experience.
Pay Range: $85, 215.00 to $131,100.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
