Job Description

Burlington Medical is excited to provide a great career opportunity for a Product Manager with one of the leading manufacturers and providers of radiation protection products.This individual will focus on attenuation material, curtains, table pads and gloves.

The Product Manager will work closely with the Product Management, Sales and Marketing team. Must have a collaborative style with a strong sense of urgency and desire to get things done. Responsible for duties listed below, including but not limited to assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company product line, documenting processes, and partnering with different areas within the company in the following duties:


Essential Functions:

  • Help determine main product selling points and support the Sales and Marketing Departments with accurate product information and sales tools to optimize product presentations.
  • Act as the liaison between Burlington and key vendors for all products.
  • Ensure product compliance with current norms and regulatory requirements, maintain certification database.
  • Execute product development initiatives from start-to-finish to ensure requirements and deadlines are met and provide regular status updates to senior management.
  • Responsible for identifying and analyzing market trends and sales performance to provide informed recommendations for products and merchandise assortment.
  • Work with marketing team to promote products, as well as execute digital marketing campaigns on social media, email and other platforms.
  • Create part numbers for products and enter them into the item master.
  • This role must have a clear and in-depth understanding of our customers, our market, and our overall competitive environment as well as our product life cycles.
  • Stay current on market trends and evaluate third-party vendors/tools for potential use.
  • Track KPIs and produce weekly/monthly reports for stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for identifying and analyzing competitor activities to provide Burlington Medical’s products a competitive edge over competition.
  • Collaborates with the product management team to maintain a product integration plan that will ensure the overall achievement of product objectives while maintaining products’ vision, positioning, and direction.
  • Support sales team as necessary on new monetization opportunities and proposals.
  • Conduct and/or assist with product training as necessary.
  • Analyze product assortment, recommending ideal merchandizing plan for the assigned categories.


Skills/Qualifications:

  • Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to work on several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with the capability to meet strict deadlines is required.
  • Creative and innovative when problem solving and forming solutions with great initiative and motivation in approaching their workload while seeking to learn new interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Experience in ERP systems preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business conditions and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Experience in B2B environment a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential to provide clear and concise information to senior level management and customers with the ability to make presentations as required.
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure.
  • Experience in design and development of innovative healthcare solutions utilizing technology and data.


Required:

  • Strategic and innovative thinker with 3 or more years’ experience in product management, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Candidates must be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • The right candidate for this position will have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and be a team player.
  • Degree in business, marketing, economics or equivalent experience.
