Job Description
We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented, and creative team player to join our IT department as a full-time Product Manager located in Provo, Utah. The individual we are looking for someone that excels working with a team, contributes to the positive company culture, is confident in holding others accountable, and is highly self-motivated. The Product Owner collaborates with the entire development team to ensure that products are delivered successfully, within the Agile framework. This role will be responsible for taking business requirements, prioritizing them according to the business's needs and translating them into testable features to be worked on by the development team, working closely with the Scrum Master to guarantee that the development team provides the product solution required in regular, iterative cycles and communicates progress to the business and, where applicable, to external clients clearly and consistently.
$90k-$150k annually

Responsibilities Include
You'll be a highly self-motivated software professional who has previous experience working with an Agile software delivery team. It's important for you to have high attention to detail and strong organization skills, effectively prioritizing and executing tasks under pressure.
  • Evaluating Product Progress: Is accountable for each stage of the development process and final process, inspects and evaluates product progress through each interaction, and determines whether the final project is acceptable.
  • UAT: Testing and acceptance of changes in a highly number-oriented product.
  • Acting as Primary Liaison: Gains buy-in from stakeholders and delivers clear instructions to the developers.
  • Manage the Product Backlog: Creates a list of backlog items, prioritize items based on strategy and map out dependencies.
  • Anticipating Clients Needs: Understands and anticipates stakeholder needs, has deep knowledge of the market, and creates customer journey maps.
  • Overseeing Development Stages: Contributes to the planning, execution, and review of each sprint and works with a team to refine and improve the development process.
  • Prioritize Needs: Consider the needs and objectives of stakeholders while juggling scope, budget, and time to prioritize projects.
  • Define the Vision: Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
Qualifications
  • Experience prioritizing competing projects
  • Preferred experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Web Application
  • Mobile Products
  • 1+ years of experience with demonstrated success as a Software Product Owner or comparable experience.
  • Experience working with Agile Team Environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • UX/UI Design
